here we will see the Basic flow of Model BOM from BOM module to Order management module.
1. Create Model BOM in BOM Module

2. Run Populate Model BOM program.
This program can be run from BOM responsibility or Configurator Administrator Responsibility
This program is run for importing the Model BOM for the first time in Oracle Configurator

3. The above program places the Model BOM in "Repository" page of Oracle Configurator.

4. After you run the Populate Model BOM program if you need to re-import the Model BOM
in Oracle Configurator then you need to run "Refresh Model BOM" program.
This program can be run from BOM responsibility or Configurator Administrator Responsibility.

5. In Configurator you can create user guided selling (UGS) questions
(Details on this will be posted in relevant topics later).

6. These UGS questions can be linked to the Model BOM which is now present in Oracle
Configurator

7. Oracle Configurator Rules can be created in such a way that the answers to the UGS
questions will lead to the appropraite selection of the items in the Model BOM.

8. Oracle Configurator User Interface is created to give the User the required look and feel of
Configurator Model.

9. Now we are ready with the Configurator Model to be published to the Target Applications
(Modules)

10. Create Model Publication.
Model Publication is created in Oracle Configurator.
This creates a Publication Id for the selected Model to be Published.
As an example: You can pass parameter as "Order Management" in Application section.

11. Run Program "Process Model Publications" or "Process a Single Publication"
This program publishes the Model to the selected Applications (Modules), here in Order
Management.

12. You can now go to Sales Order Form
Enter the Model BOM name and click on Configurator Button
This will open the Published Configurator Model for your Model BOM.
